This is a great hike in Marienville, it is a place north of town off of 666 called Minister Creek. We have been there a few times and always had great fun. There are thousands of huge rocks for the kids to climb on. There are rock tunnels for them to walk through. Great family fun!
Rock Tunnel Hike
We called this the “Rock Tunnel Hike” because they are not actually caves that you go into however I have heard some people call them caves as well. Check out some of these pictures of the kids on the hike.
Directions To Minister Creek
Go north out of Marienville Pa on route 66. When you come to 666 which is also called Blue Jay Road make a left. Go about 6 miles to the T and make a left. Follow the signs to Minister Creek.
I would like to know where to find primitive camping in the National Forest. Not necessarily camp grounds.
I know if you head down during road past Marienville Pa you can find some great trails to do primitive camping on. I wish you the best of luck!
